Stars live for different amounts of time depending on their size. Our sun, and stars of a similar size, last about 10 billion years. Our sun is currently about 4.5 billion years old. The closest star to our solar system, Alpha Centauri, is about 4.85 billion years old. Absolutely massive stars, about 10 million years. So you’re guaranteed at least one bloody wish.
